The atic has changed face. Until i have money to install what i had in mind ( 1 bedroom, 1guest room , WC & showers+ storage room) I only clean the place from 150 years of dust, dead mice & snakes, nutshells etc... which were discovered while remaking the roof. The first space Will use mainly for storage and drying laundry in winter . Now I've also installed toilets that will serve me when I'm in the attic |

In the middle space, that will, later, serve as a guest room, I have opened 2 spire lights. This one was there originally and will have the same use: getting stuff I will need ( planks for instance) from the outside, instead of having to carry it through the stairs. In the meantime I'll be using this space to store my jams |

I have only one bedroom downstairs. But my daughter has arrived from Israel and she's been occupying the livingroom for a while ( till her house in Figeac is ready ) . My mother has come for a visit and I gave her my only bedroom downstairs. So, I had to improvise a bedroom in the attic, in the space that will serve as one when I can afford it. To make a REAL BEDROOM out of this, I'll have to finish the insulation of the roof, and cover the stone walls with planks to avoid the dust. As for the floor, as the electic wiring is all over the wooden floor, I'll have to put wooden planks over the wires..... |
