Jo, a cat with a story

Jo, a cat named after Josephine Baker. He was born on the grounds of the Chateau des Milandes, the castle J. Baker has bought and where her adoptive children grew up ( some still live near the castle ). Jo was rejected by his mother and was malnourished in the first 6-7 months of his life. that could be one reason why he's so small. Jo is really affectionate. contrary to what people say about cats ( that all they care for is their food ) he really loves me. He waits for me at the door when I come back from wherever I went to, and no matter if I've been away for an hour or a week-end. Jo runs home when he hears the sound of my car. When jo meets new people, he'll "test them" : He jumps on their knees and sees how they accept it. Jo loves water. He runs out when it rains and hours later he'll come back, soaking wet and ask me to dry him. But as soon as he's dry, he'll run out and come back later, soaking wet again, but smiling. When we lived in Siorac en Perigord, practically on the bank of the Dordogne river, Jo used to play in the water, if there was something interesting enough there (like a stick/leaf/branch floating on the current).... Come on now and see some pictures of Jo
